The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) issued a notification on the amendment in Para 4.12 (vi) of the Procedures, 2023.

Mentioned below are the amendments that have been stated.

Para 4.12 (vi) of the Handbook of Procedures, 2023 is being replaced with the following –

It stated that norms ratified by various Norms committees in 0/o DGFT within or after 1st April 2023, will be valid for three consecutive years starting from the initial date of ratification under the Advance Authorisation achieved under Para 4.07 of the HBP, 2015-20 would be valid till 31st March 2026.

All the decisions of the Norm Committees will be found in the minutes form available on the official website of the DGFT. Other applicants of Advance Authorisation may also apply for this and get respective authorizations based on the ratified norms till the time its validity exists.
